Program App
The ARES conference for the first time this year is featuring a program app allowing participants to carry the program on their phone (IOS & Android device) rather than having the typical booklet. You can download the app on your smart phone by going to: https://my.yapp.us/ARES18 or by going to your app store downloading yapp. After downloading it select “Download an Existing Yapp” and in the yapp id enter ares18 and go. Now you have the ARES conference app.
The app allows you to:
- Explore in advance the education and general panels based on a short overview provided by the chairs
- Create your favorites (select program, the session/panel/event of your preference and scroll to the bottom of the page and select the gray button “Add event to my schedule”)
- Find the contact info and sessions various participants are presenting (all co-authors are included as participants and a number of them might not be present at the conference beyond the contact authors)
- Review the manuscripts submitted in each session (Hyperlinks to all submitted papers are available under their title. The message “Error 404 – Not Found” appears when the authors have only uploaded an abstract and not a paper on the ARES website)
- Know the location of the various sessions/panels/events by reviewing the hotel floorplan
- Rate the sessions you attended (select program, the session/panel/event of your preference and scroll to the bottom of the page and select the number of stars)
- See the venue photos and upload your own photos from events taking place
- See the conference sponsors
- See ARES twitter feeds from the conference
