Location/access: Between Fort Myers (30 minutes from Southwest Florida International airport) Naples (40 minutes) and 2 and a half hours from Miami international airport. Other airports of interest are: Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International airport (almost 2 hours), Tampa International (2 and a half hours), Orlando International (3 and a half hours), Palm Beach International airport (almost 3 hours).

Area: The area between Fort Myers and Sanibel offers some of Florida’s best beaches. There are multiple lighthouses, an opportunity to explore more than 400 species for those interested in shelling as well as a number of museums and art galleries. The Everglades national park is only a drive away and seeing them with an airboat is a unique experience.
